Full Job Description About Us:
Buddies bakery is a modern café in Weston offering breakfast, sandwiches, bowls, wraps, salads, pastries, desserts, coffee, matcha, and grab-and-go options. We are looking for a reliable, energetic, and hardworking Food Runner to support our team and make sure food and beverages reach our guests quickly and accurately. Responsibilities- Deliver food and beverages from the kitchen and bar to guests efficiently and accurately.
- Check that orders are complete before delivering them to guests.
- Ensure food is presented properly.
- Assist servers and other team members during busy periods.
- Clear and reset tables as needed.
- Maintain clean and organized dining and service areas.
- Restock plates, utensils, napkins, condiments, and other service supplies.
- Communicate with the kitchen and front-of-house team regarding missing or incorrect items.
- Assist with basic tasks when needed.
- Follow food safety and sanitation standards.
- Assist with opening and closing duties.
- Provide friendly and professional service to guests. Requirements
- Previous restaurant or hospitality experience preferred, but not required.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Reliable and punctual.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize during busy periods.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Weekend availability preferred.
