Greet guests within 2 minutes of being seated, offering a choice of still, sparkling, or tap water. Explain the concept to each guest, highlighting the in house blue corn tortilla progress. Follow specific Amasa steps of service and guest greet standards. Confirm dietary restrictions or allergies before taking orders. Guide guests through menu sections with enthusiasm, highlighting each menu section, suggestions based on guest preferences, and weekly specials. Deliver food and drinks to coursing standards. Exhibit polished table-side etiquette, handling guest interactions with professionalism and grace. Maintain a comprehensive knowledge of all ingredients, preparation methods, cooking times, and beverage pairings for tapas, large plates, brunch and lunch offerings. Maintain an average PPA based on restaurant standards. Provide personalized recommendations based on guest preferences, upselling where appropriate to enhance the dining experience. Share the story and design inspiration of Amasa and Baja inspired Mexican food and drinks. Communicate upcoming special events and offers to guests during their visit. Stay informed on all specials and confidently present them to guests, encouraging exploration of new offerings. Accurately enter orders using Toast POS, coursing items to optimize kitchen flow and guest experience. Ensure dishes are fired and served at appropriate intervals, maintaining the rhythm of the dining experience. Regularly pre-bus and reset tables, keeping sections tidy and ready for the next course or guest. Keep all server areas tidy and well stocked. Skillfully manage larger groups, ensuring efficient service and excellent guest experiences. Assist teammates by running food, drinks, and completing shared tasks during peak hours. Work closely with kitchen staff, managers, and fellow servers to maintain smooth operations and exceptional service standards. Attend all pre-shift meetings on time, actively engaging in discussions and taking detailed notes. Arrive well-groomed and adhere to Amasa's dress code for a polished and professional appearance. Must have reliable transportation. Must be able to work weekday lunch shifts, weekend brunch, shifts, week and weekend dinner shifts Must be able to work doubles from time to time. Be on time for all scheduled shifts, prepared to provide seamless service from the start.
