Responsibilities Greet guests warmly and guide them to their tables with a friendly demeanor Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest experience and increase sales Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are consistently followed during food handling and service Assist with bussing tables, cleaning, and resetting dining areas to ensure a smooth flow of service Use reservation platforms like OpenTable to manage bookings efficiently and maximize seating capacity Provide exceptional guest relations by addressing questions, concerns, or special requests professionally Requirements Prior experience in food service or restaurant environments, especially in fine dining or nightlife settings is preferred Strong knowledge of POS systems including Toast POS, Aloha POS, or similar platforms Culinary experience or understanding of food preparation enhances service quality Excellent time management skills to handle busy service periods effectively Proven ability in sales techniques such as upselling and suggestive selling Knowledge of food safety protocols, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures Experience with guest services roles like host/hostess or bartender is advantageous Basic math skills for cash handling, cashiering, and bill splitting accurately Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends in a fast-paced environment Join us to be part of an energetic team dedicated to delivering outstanding hospitality!
