Duties Greet guests warmly and assist with seating arrangements, ensuring a positive first impression. Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, processing sales transactions efficiently. Serve food and drinks promptly, including cocktail and spirits service, maintaining high standards of presentation and quality. Upsell menu items, wine selections, and specialty drinks to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales. Manage cash handling responsibilities accurately while processing payments securely through POS systems like OpenTable or other platforms. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and adhering to food safety protocols. Provide exceptional guest relations by addressing questions, accommodating special requests, and ensuring overall guest comfort throughout their visit. Qualifications Previous food service experience in restaurants, fine dining establishments, or nightlife venues such as nightclubs is highly preferred. Familiarity with POS systems including Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms; experience with OpenTable is a plus. Strong knowledge of beverage service, cocktail mixing, wine varieties, spirits, and food handling procedures. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours. Demonstrated ability in upselling techniques to maximize sales opportunities while maintaining excellent customer service. Basic math skills for processing transactions accurately and managing cash handling responsibilities. Experience in food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food preparation techniques.
