Responsibilities Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with seating arrangements as a Host/Hostess if needed Take accurate food and beverage orders using Toast POS system, ensuring clarity and attention to detail Serve food and drinks efficiently, including cocktails, wine, spirits, and non-alcoholic beverages, maintaining high standards of presentation and quality Process sales transactions accurately while handling cash, credit cards, and other payment methods with basic math skills Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and maximize sales opportunities through friendly suggestions and product knowledge Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of tables, service stations, and dining areas in compliance with food safety regulations Support food preparation, bussing tables, and assisting kitchen staff during busy periods to ensure smooth operations Qualifications Previous food service experience in restaurants or fine dining environments is highly preferred Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; experience with OpenTable is a plus Culinary experience or beverage expertise including cocktail making, wine knowledge, spirits experience, and drink service skills Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude; ability to build guest relations and handle guest inquiries professionally Demonstrated time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during high-volume shifts Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures Experience working in hospitality settings such as nightclubs or restaurants; host/hostess background is advantageous Ability to process cash transactions accurately while maintaining attention to detail in sales transaction processing Basic math proficiency for order calculations and change handling; familiarity with food industry terminology is beneficial Join us if you're passionate about delivering exceptional guest experiences through energetic service, culinary expertise, and a positive attitude.
