Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our team in a fast-paced dining environment. The ideal candidate will possess excellent guest service skills and a passion for the culinary arts, ensuring that every dining experience is memorable. As a Server, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests while maintaining the highest standards of food safety and sanitation. Duties Greet and seat guests promptly, providing them with menus and information about daily specials. Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring all guest requests are met. Deliver food and drinks to tables in a timely manner while maintaining a friendly demeanor. Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their dining experience, addressing any concerns or requests promptly. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including sanitizing tables and utensils as needed. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation of orders and adherence to quality standards. Process payments accurately and efficiently, utilizing basic math skills for cash handling. Assist in training new staff members on restaurant policies, menu items, and guest service techniques. Requirements Previous experience in food service or fine dining is preferred but not required. Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a busy environment. Excellent guest service skills with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons. Basic math skills for handling transactions and processing payments accurately. Knowledge of culinary practices and menu items is a plus. Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated. Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift items as necessary to maintain restaurant operations.
