In this role, you will be the face of our restaurant, providing exceptional guest service while expertly managing food and beverage orders. Responsibilities Greet guests warmly upon arrival and guide them to their tables with a friendly demeanor Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality Upsell menu items, including wines, spirits, and specialty cocktails, to enhance guest experience and increase sales Process cash and credit card transactions accurately, ensuring proper handling of all sales transactions Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in accordance with food safety regulations during service Assist with bussing tables, refilling drinks, and supporting kitchen staff as needed to ensure smooth operations Requirements Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, including fine dining or nightclub settings Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; experience with OpenTable is a plus Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build guest relations and handle diverse situations professionally Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively during busy service periods Knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail preparation, and beverage service techniques Basic math skills for processing payments and handling cash accurately Food handling certification and understanding of sanitation practices required by health regulations Previous experience in food industry roles such as host/hostess or bartender is advantageous Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends in a fast-paced environment Join us if you're passionate about delivering outstanding guest experiences!
