What You'll Do Welcome guests with warmth, clarity, and Sanctuary's grounded tone Guide them through the menu with working knowledge of the full food and bar menus, including preparation methods, ingredients, allergens, and chef's current features Drive cocktail upsells naturally by connecting guests with the right drink for their order Enter orders accurately and communicate modifications or allergies with precision Coordinate with the kitchen and bar team to ensure seamless course timing and table pacing Serve food and drinks with attention to timing, quality, and table cleanliness Check in on tables proactively throughout the meal without hovering Monitor beverage levels, pacing, and guest needs throughout the meal Follow responsible alcohol service including ID checks and manager notification Process payments accurately and efficiently — checks, discounts, gift cards, cash, and electronic payments Complete side work and support teammates during peak hours Maintain the vibe — calm, organized, and attentive even when the room gets loud We're Looking For 2 years serving experience in a full‑service and cocktail‑forward environment Friendly, grounded communication and the ability to manage multiple tables with composure Confidence in learning the menu, POS system, service standards, and alcohol‑service procedures Dependable attendance and flexible availability — nights, weekends, holidays, events Ability to stay calm, accurate, and organized in a fast‑paced environment Physical Requirements Stand and walk for extended periods Carry trays and supplies up to 30 lbs Work safely in a crowded, fast‑moving, sometimes noisy environment Compensation Tipped position: $2.13/hr base wage + tips
