Duties Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable Process sales transactions efficiently, including cash handling and credit card processing Upsell menu items like specialty cocktails, wines, or desserts to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining proper beverage service standards for spirits, wine, cocktails, and non-alcoholic beverages Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are upheld during food handling, serving, and bussing duties Assist with setting up tables, clearing dishes, and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area to promote a pristine environment Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate timely food preparation and delivery for a seamless dining flow Engage with guests to foster positive guest relations and address any special requests or concerns promptly Support team members during busy hours by bussing tables and assisting with general restaurant operations Skills Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, especially in fine dining or nightlife settings such as nightclubs or upscale bars Proficiency with POS systems including Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms for sales processing Strong knowledge of beverage service including spirits, wine knowledge, cocktail preparation, and drink presentation techniques Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport quickly and handle guest inquiries professionally Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks during high-volume periods Basic math skills for accurately processing transactions and calculating bills or tips Culinary experience or food industry background preferred for understanding menu items and food safety protocols Ability to upsell menu items confidently while maintaining a positive attitude Knowledge of sanitation standards and food handling procedures to ensure compliance with health regulations Hospitality-oriented mindset with a focus on guest relations and creating memorable experiences Embark on a rewarding journey in the hospitality industry where your energy makes every guest feel valued!
