Duties Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service during breakfast and lunch hours Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems Process sales transactions efficiently, including cash handling and credit card payments Upsell menu items, including specialty drinks and desserts, to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales Serve food and beverages promptly, ensuring proper presentation and adherence to food safety standards Assist with food preparation, bussing tables, and maintaining cleanliness in dining areas Manage guest relations by addressing inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring a positive experience Support beverage service with cocktail mixing, spirits knowledge, wine pairing recommendations, and drink presentation Use OpenTable for reservations management and coordinate seating arrangements seamlessly Maintain sanitation standards through proper food handling, sanitation practices, and adherence to health regulations Requirements Previous food service experience in restaurants or hospitality environments is highly preferred Familiarity with POS systems Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and professionally Knowledge of food safety protocols, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently with excellent time management skills Basic math skills for processing transactions accurately and handling cash confidently Experience with beverage service including spirits, wine knowledge, cocktail preparation, and drink presentation is desirable Restaurant experience in fine dining or casual settings is advantageous Excellent communication skills and a friendly attitude to foster guest relations Flexibility to work during breakfast and lunch hours, including weekends or holidays as needed Join us in creating welcoming environments where guests feel valued from the moment they walk in!
