Job Description
Overview We are seeking a friendly and professional Server to join our dynamic team in delivering exceptional guest experiences. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food service, excellent customer relations skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Experience with POS systems, fine dining, and food handling is highly valued. Responsibilities Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and safety Ensure proper food handling, sanitation, and safety protocols are followed at all times Assist with setting up tables, bussing, and maintaining cleanliness of dining areas Manage cash handling transactions accurately and efficiently Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders Address guest inquiries or concerns promptly to ensure a positive experience Maintain knowledge of menu items, specials, and restaurant policies to provide informed recommendations Experience Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred, especially in fine dining or hospitality settings Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable is advantageous Experience with food safety standards and sanitation practices in the food industry Background in guest services, host/hostess roles, or bussing is beneficial Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively during busy hours Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service and guest relations Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately Knowledge of food preparation, food handling, and sanitation protocols is a plus Join our team to deliver memorable dining experiences through exceptional service, teamwork, and dedication.
