About Us Dua Karahi & Grill is a new full-service Pakistani restaurant opening in Norcross, GA, serving authentic karahi and open-charcoal BBQ cuisine. Our kitchen is led by two Head Chefs with a combined 44 years of specialized experience in traditional Pakistani cooking techniques brought directly from Karachi, Pakistan. The Role We are looking for an attentive and enthusiastic Server to be the primary point of contact between our guests and the restaurant. You will be responsible for delivering a warm, knowledgeable, and highly engaging dining experience from the moment guests are seated until the completion of their meal. Given the specialized and authentic nature of our menu, you will play a critical role in guiding guests through unfamiliar dishes, explaining spice levels, and ensuring that every table, regardless of their prior familiarity with Pakistani cuisine, leaves completely satisfied. Responsibilities Welcome guests to their tables, present menus, and provide clear descriptions of menu categories, individual dishes, and daily specials. Guide guests through the spice rating system and menu structure, making personalized recommendations based on dietary preferences, spice tolerance, and table composition. Take food and beverage orders accurately, entering them into the point-of-sale (POS) system for quick transmission to the kitchen. Monitor tables throughout the meal, proactively checking on guests and addressing any concerns or requests promptly. Communicate any modifications, allergies, or special requests clearly to the kitchen staff to ensure accurate execution. Present checks, process payments, and ensure that the closing interaction with each table reflects the same warmth and professionalism as the opening. Prepare to-go and takeout orders for guests when applicable. Assist with table setup and pre-service preparation, including setting linens, silverware, glassware, and condiments. Encourage satisfied guests to leave positive reviews on Google, Yelp, and social media platforms. Assist with other tasks as directed by the General Manager. Requirements Previous experience as a server in a full-service restaurant environment is highly preferred. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a natural ability to make guests feel welcome and comfortable. Willingness to deeply learn the menu, including ingredients, cooking methods, and spice profiles, to confidently educate guests. Ability to navigate POS systems efficiently and handle payment processing accurately. Strong attention to detail, particularly regarding dietary restrictions, food allergies, and order modifications. Ability to remain composed, friendly, and efficient in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. Reliable, punctual, and highly team-oriented. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the restaurant's operating hours.
