Duties Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with seating arrangements using OpenTable or similar reservation systems Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring special requests are noted and fulfilled Provide detailed menu descriptions and upsell items to enhance the guest experience and increase sales opportunities Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation Manage cash handling responsibilities accurately, including processing payments and giving correct change Maintain cleanliness by bussing tables promptly, resetting dining areas, and assisting with sanitation protocols in line with food safety standards Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and resolve any service issues quickly Support guest relations by addressing questions or concerns professionally and courteously throughout their visit Assist with food preparation or basic kitchen tasks when needed, demonstrating culinary experience and versatility Uphold all food handling regulations and sanitation standards to ensure a safe dining environment Qualifications Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, ideally with fine dining or nightclub backgrounds Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable for reservations and order management Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude that fosters guest satisfaction Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and perform basic math calculations swiftly Demonstrated time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy periods Experience with upselling techniques to maximize sales opportunities while enhancing guest enjoyment Knowledge of food safety regulations, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling practices Previous experience in serving roles including host/hostess duties or bussing is highly desirable Basic kitchen experience or culinary background is a plus for supporting food prep when necessary Strong communication skills coupled with a passion for hospitality and guest relations Join us to be part of an exciting team where your energy fuels memorable dining experiences!
