Nicoangelo , a new high-end Italian restaurant in Savannah's City Market district (309 W Congress St), is opening in a few weeks. We're hiring experienced servers to launch the dining room with us. About the Role As a Server, you'll deliver warm, polished, knowledgeable service from the first greeting to the final goodbye. You'll guide guests through our menu, wine list, and cocktails, and work with our host team, server assistants, bartenders, and kitchen so every table feels cared for. Responsibilities Greet tables promptly and present the menu, specials, and wine and cocktail selections Make thoughtful recommendations and pairings, and answer questions about ingredients, preparation, and allergens Take orders accurately in the POS and time courses with the kitchen Deliver multi-course service with attention to pacing, presentation, and detail Serve alcohol responsibly and verify IDs Handle checks and payments accurately Keep your section clean, stocked, and set to standard Work closely with the host stand, servers, and bartenders during busy service Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines Requirements 1+ years of serving experience; fine dining or upscale casual preferred Wine and cocktail knowledge a plus, and a real interest in Italian cuisine and wine is welcome Polished appearance, strong communication skills, and a hospitality-first attitude Able to stay calm and organized in a fast-paced environment Able to stand for long periods and carry up to 25 lbs Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays Experience with Toast or similar POS systems a plus, though we'll train Alcohol server certification (e.g., TIPS) a plus, or willingness to obtain one What We Offer Competitive tipped wage: [$/hr + tips] Paid pre-opening training, including menu, wine, and service education Staff meal and dining discount Opportunity to join a new restaurant from day one, with room to grow into lead server, bartender, or management roles
