Duties Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their visit Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring quick processing of sales transactions Upsell menu items including cocktails, wines, spirits, and specialty dishes to enhance guest experience and increase sales Serve food and drinks efficiently, maintaining proper beverage service standards including cocktail preparation and wine knowledge Handle cash transactions accurately, process payments via POS systems, and give correct change while maintaining accountability Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and adhering to food safety protocols Assist with food handling and food preparation tasks as needed in collaboration with kitchen staff to ensure timely service Requirements Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, preferably with fine dining or nightclub experience Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; familiarity with OpenTable is a plus Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build guest relations and handle diverse guest needs gracefully Demonstrated ability in time management, multitasking during busy hours, and working efficiently under pressure Basic math skills for processing sales transactions accurately and managing cash handling responsibilities Knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail mixing, beverage service, and food industry standards including sanitation and food safety regulations Previous experience in serving alcohol responsibly with spirits experience is highly desirable Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate loads, and work flexible hours including nights and weekends Join us to be part of an energetic team dedicated to delivering exceptional hospitality!
