We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast-paced hospitality-focused property organization. Position Summary:
Our restaurant servers must ensure that our guest have an enjoyable dining experience by providing quality customer service. To ensure that the restaurant is operating up to company standards and expectations. Restaurant servers are responsible for positive guest interactions while serving guests in a friendly, efficient and professional manner. At all times, servers are expected to be attentive to our guest needs and making them feel welcome and comfortable. We are committed to have every guest leave impressed by their overall dining experience and to create a lasting friendship with us.
Hourly Rate:
$16.00 per hour.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Adhere to all Pearl at Kalauao standards and policies to achieve overall excellence: Department (SOP) standard operating procedures, company handbook, dress code, cellular phone policy and safety program. Must be able to communicate with all team members and management. Responsible for complying with new programs, policies and procedures to take the F&B department to the next level. Responsible for ensuring that all aspects of the operation are operating efficiently and safely. Must be able to communicate with customers in a professional manner. Must be willing to accommodate guests on their needs and to provide them with excellent service. Must be able to communicate with guest and promptly respond to them if they have additional request. Must be able to provide superior, quality and professional service to all of our guest, all of the time. Must be able to perform the Pearl at Kalauao FOH Standard Operating Procedures consistently with pride and professionalism. Must be able to perform all required task with attention to detail. Must be able to meet the department's goals and objectives. Must display a positive attitude at all times while on duty. Drama in the workplace will not be tolerated. Must be a team player at all times while on duty Must provide their own change fund on a daily basis and is responsible for their own change denomination. Pearl at Kalauao will not provide a change fund or change monies with its change fund. Must be able to complete the required daily checklist and side duties at the end of the shift. Must be knowledgeable with our Point of Sale (POS) System with minimal errors. Must be knowledgeable with our menu/cuisine. Must be knowledgeable with the beverages we carry. Must be able to complete tasks with minimum or no supervision. Help with other areas of the restaurant such as answering telephones, when not busy. Responsible for daily house-keeping details. Responsible for cash handling using proper cash handling procedures and turning in accurate check out sheet at the end of the shift.
Essential Functions:
Represent the Food & Beverage Department in a professional and helpful manner. To ensure that our customers receive the best customers service and satisfaction. Provide quality food and beverage service in a timely manner. Provide service with a polite and courteous attitude. Attention to detail in table service. Keep work area clean at all times.
Skills/Qualifications:
Must have a Positive Attitude, Team Player, Verbal Communication, Customer Service, Resolve Conflict, selling to the customer's needs, Professionalism, be knowledgeable about the restaurant, greet guest and build rapport, and be courteous while delivering efficient service to our guests. Perform other duties as assigned by the manager and must know and preform Pearl at Kalauao Core Values.
