Duties Safely handle and transport food orders from the kitchen to dining areas, ensuring proper presentation and temperature. Assist with food preparation tasks such as plating, garnishing, and portioning when needed. Clear and clean tables promptly by bussing and resetting for new guests, maintaining a tidy dining environment. Support the kitchen team by performing manual handling tasks including heavy lifting of food trays, supplies, and equipment following safe lifting practices. Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and front-of-house team to coordinate timely service delivery. Ensure adherence to food safety standards during food handling, serving, and cleaning procedures. Maintain cleanliness of work areas through regular cleaning duties including wiping down surfaces and disposing of waste properly. Experience Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are essential. Familiarity with food handling procedures, safety protocols, and basic kitchen operations is advantageous. Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus for processing orders efficiently. Prior banquet or catering experience can be beneficial in managing large volume service settings. Strong communication skills and ability to provide excellent in-person customer service are vital for success in this role. Knowledge of food safety standards, culinary practices, or hospitality operations will support your growth within our team. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely, stand for extended periods, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment is required.
