Responsibilities Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with seating arrangements to ensure a smooth flow of service Take accurate food and beverage orders using Spot On POS, or OpenTable, ensuring all special requests are noted Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness Provide detailed wine, spirits, and cocktail recommendations, upselling menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales Process cash and credit card transactions accurately, handling cash handling duties with integrity and attention to detail Maintain cleanliness of tables, dining areas, and service stations in compliance with sanitation standards Engage with guests to foster positive relationships, address inquiries promptly, and resolve any concerns professionally Requirements Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments in fine dining Strong knowledge of POS systems including Spot On POS, and OpenTable Excellent customer service skills with the ability to connect with diverse guests Ability to handle multiple tables efficiently through effective time management and organization skills Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures Basic math skills for processing sales transactions accurately Experience with beverage service including spirits, wine knowledge, cocktail preparation, and drink presentation Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed in a fast-paced environment Join our team where your passion for hospitality meets endless opportunities for growth!
