Job Description
We are looking to add a couple great personalities to our service staff. Experience required. Must have open availability. The busiest 3 meal per-day restaurant in the area continues to get busier! - Greeting and seating customers in a friendly and efficient manner
- Taking customer orders accurately and promptly
- Delivering food and beverages to tables in a timely fashion
- Providing excellent customer service throughout the dining experience
- Handling cash transactions and operating the POS system
- Ensuring food safety standards are met in food handling and serving
- Upselling menu items and promoting specials to increase sales
- Collaborating with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders
- Maintaining cleanliness and sanitation in the dining area
- Assisting with bussing tables and resetting them for the next customers
- Communicating effectively with the kitchen and other staff members to ensure smooth operations Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant industry
- Strong customer service skills
- Knowledge of POS systems, especially Toast
- Ability to handle food safely and follow food safety protocols
- Experience with upselling and sales techniques
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage time effectively
- Understanding of food preparation and kitchen operations
- Knowledge of sanitation practices to maintain a clean environment
- Hospitality and guest service oriented attitude
