Job Description
Overview We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service and a strong understanding of food safety and preparation. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our guests have an enjoyable dining experience. Duties Greet and seat customers promptly, providing menus and information about daily specials. Take accurate food and beverage orders using the Aloha POS system or OpenTable. Deliver food and drinks to tables in a timely manner while ensuring presentation meets restaurant standards. Assist with food preparation as needed, adhering to culinary guidelines and food safety practices. Handle cash transactions accurately, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed. Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and service stations. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow and address any customer concerns effectively. Provide knowledgeable recommendations on menu items to enhance the guest experience. Skills Previous experience in the food industry is preferred, with knowledge of food service operations. Strong math skills for handling cash transactions and processing payments accurately. Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members. Understanding of food safety standards and practices to ensure compliance in all aspects of food handling. Ability to multitask in a busy environment while maintaining attention to detail.
