•3 hour position at Riverview
QUALIFICATIONS
Have a basic understanding of housekeeping, food preparation, nutrition, sanitation, friendliness, and enjoy students.
REPORT TO
Kitchen manager
JOB GOAL
To serve the students attractive and nutritious meals in an atmosphere of efficiency, cleanliness, and friendliness.
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES
Report to work on time, accomplishing duties within schedules time frame. Accepts cheerfully and responsibly directions given by manager Assist in preparation of foods as needed. Serve students and faculty, at the serving bar using precise portion control, and ensuring the meal served is a reimbursable meal. Assumes responsibility for seeing that during meal serving times the supply of foods offered are quickly and regularly replenished. Assumes responsibility for cleanup in kitchen, equipment and areas used. Performs major cleaning of cooler and storeroom at regularly scheduled intervals as designated by the manager. Maintains trash and garbage collection in a neat and sanitary manner. When finished with own duties, help where needed to ensure everyone is getting done on schedule. Participates in all major year end cleaning, under the manager's directions. Records daily, only time worked, and totals the hours worked for the end of the month. Maintains the highest standards of safety and sanitation in the kitchen, as well as personal hygiene. Attend all meetings, workshops or training requested by the director. Performs any other such tasks and duties as the principal, superintendent may assign. Open until filled
