Sun Valley Resort is seeking polished, hospitality-driven Servers to join our team at the Ram. In this role, you'll deliver an elevated dining experience by providing gracious, attentive service while anticipating guest needs and creating memorable moments. Duties & Responsibilities Deliver warm, personalized service that reflects the highest standards of luxury hospitality and the Sun Valley experience. Prepare the dining room and workstation before each shift, ensuring an elegant, organized, and service-ready environment. Confidently guide guests through the menu, offering knowledgeable recommendations on food, wine, cocktails, and other beverages to enhance the dining experience. Maintain a thorough understanding of menus, daily features, ingredients, allergens, and preparation methods to answer guest questions with confidence. Communicate dietary restrictions, allergies, and special requests accurately with the culinary team to ensure exceptional guest care. Enter orders accurately into the point-of-sale (POS) system and coordinate with culinary and bar teams to ensure seamless, timely service. Serve food and beverages with precision, professionalism, and attention to detail while anticipating guest needs throughout the meal. Present and process guest checks accurately while adhering to established cash-handling procedures. Maintain impeccably clean dining areas and tables throughout service, ensuring every detail contributes to an exceptional guest experience. Complete side work and support fellow team members to maintain efficient operations and the highest level of service. Uphold all health, safety, sanitation, and responsible alcohol service standards while maintaining a polished, professional appearance. Qualifications Minimum of two years of serving experience in fine dining, upscale restaurants, luxury hospitality, or resort environments preferred. TIPS Certification required or the ability to obtain certification within 30 days of hire. Previous experience with cash handling and point-of-sale (POS) systems required. Strong knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktails, beer, and food pairings; wine service experience preferred. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with a genuine passion for personalized guest service. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks, including reaching, lifting, and carrying service items. Can safely lift and/or move up to 50 pounds Must be at least 18 years of age.
