Lodge Manager and Chef Elevated hospitality, mountain life, no pass to drive If you love refined service and a life outdoors, this role gives you both on the Idaho side of the Tetons. You'll work where you live, with no daily drive over the pass. You'll serve guests against mountain views most people only see from inside the Park. About Blixt and Company Blixt and Company is one of a kind in North America. We bring the centuries-old English tradition of driven pheasant and partridge shooting to the American West, with the heritage of ranch country and the wide-open landscape of Teton Valley. The result is a guest experience you won't find anywhere else: tweed and wool in the field, a roaring fire and a private chef's table at the lodge, and the Tetons outside every window. Our guests are accomplished people who travel from across the country for a day in the field and an evening of exceptional hospitality. Our small team of chef, lodge manager and guest service specialists makes sure they feel relaxed, looked after and at home. The Role We're looking for a versatile server and bartender who is just as comfortable making a coffee as impeccable fine dining service. Your days will change with the rhythm of the lodge: Breakfast and lunch: relaxed, warm and efficient service, including setting guests up for the day and serving lunch in the lodge or out at our field locations.
Evening fine dining:
working alongside our Chefs to guide guests through an elevated dining experience, with polished table service, thoughtful wine and cocktail pairings, and a beautifully paced evening. We serve one table at a time, so you can give each guest real, personal attention. You'll often be the first face guests see in the morning and the last one they say goodnight to. You'll also be part of what happens behind the scenes, from preparation and setup to the small details that make an evening feel effortless. We pay close attention to what each guest needs. That might mean remembering how someone likes their eggs, making sure there are olives ready for their martini, or holding your own in a conversation about driven shooting. Our guests come for the shooting, but come back for the way we host them. Everything we do follows a traditional English standard of service, delivered with genuine Western warmth. Why You'll Love It Here Live and work in Teton Valley. No Teton Pass commute, just a short drive to work with the mountains in view. An outdoor life on your days off. Skiing at Grand Targhee, trails, rivers, fly fishing and big open country, all close by. Hospitality at a level few people experience. One table at a time, a private chef, fine wine, and service that extends into the field. A rare craft to learn. Very few hospitality professionals in America have worked a traditional driven shoot. You'll leave with experience almost no one else has. A small team where you matter. Your ideas, initiative and attention to detail shape the guest experience directly.
