We are seeking dedicated individuals to join our culinary department who are passionate about contributing to our goal of maintaining the exceptional standards of our community. We are currently seeking a Part-Time Dining Room Server to work the PM shift. Key Responsibilities:
Greet residents promptly and provide personalized menu information, including explanation of ingredients and preparation methods, to assist residents with their menu choices. Have knowledge of the menu options and take meal orders for residents. Follow formal table set-up procedures for all meals and ensure prompt meal delivery. Set up the dining room after each meal and change soiled linens as needed. Minimize contamination risk by using gloves to dish out food, add garnishes, and handle other food items in accordance with sanitary regulations and KBH established procedures. Dispose of food and waste in accordance with established KBH policies and procedures. Maintain clean and sanitary workstations, tables, and chairs by completing side work as scheduled.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent Previous experience in banquets, LTC or commercial restaurant preferred Safe Food Handler certificate and/or BASSET certificate required Ability to maintain/renew Safe Food Handler & BASSET certification as required Ability to fluently communicate in English Must project a positive image of KBH through words, actions, and appearance Ability to work the PM shift
