We are seeking dedicated individuals to join our culinary department who are passionate about contributing to our goal of maintaining the exceptional standards of our community. At King-Bruwaert House, we foster a supportive work environment, opportunities for professional development, and a chance to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our residents. We are currently seeking a Full-Time Relief Cook to work the AM/PM shifts. Key Responsibilities:
Relieves AM/PM cook on their days off in the Main Kitchen Responsible for cooking, prep, and serving meals to our residents following strict dietary standards and maintaining safety and sanitation levels up to company standards May assist with catering and working in other areas as needed
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent Previous experience in LTC or commercial restaurant kitchen preferred Safe Food Handler certification or Manager certificate required Ability to maintain/renew certifications as required Ability to communicate fluently in English Must project a positive image of KBH through words, actions, and appearance
