Responsibilities Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their visit Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS Serve food and drinks efficiently, ensuring proper presentation and quality standards are met Upsell menu items including cocktails, wines, spirits, and specialty dishes to enhance guest experience Manage sales transactions accurately, process payments, and handle cash or credit card payments securely Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all serving areas, including bussing tables and resetting stations Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery Use OpenTable or similar reservation systems to manage guest seating efficiently Demonstrate knowledge of food safety protocols, wine pairings, and spirits to assist guests with selections Support guest relations by addressing questions or concerns promptly and professionally Skills Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, preferably with fine dining exposure Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and professionally Culinary experience or food industry background is highly desirable Ability to upsell menu items confidently while maintaining genuine guest interactions Effective time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours Knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail preparation, and food safety standards Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately and processing sales efficiently Experience with serving in high-volume settings such as hotels or upscale restaurants is a plus Ability to work collaboratively within a team in a fast-paced environment Pay rate starts at $10 per hour plus tips.
