Job Summary Join our vibrant team as a Bar Server, where your energy and hospitality skills will create memorable experiences for our guests. Your expertise in beverage service, food handling, and customer relations will help foster a lively, upscale environment that keeps guests coming back for more. Duties Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their visit Take accurate drink and food orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring timely delivery Upsell menu items including cocktails, wines, spirits, and food to enhance guest experience and increase sales Process cash and credit transactions efficiently while maintaining accuracy in sales reporting Prepare and serve beverages including cocktails, spirits, wine, and non-alcoholic options with professionalism Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in bar area, including proper food handling and beverage preparation Assist with bussing tables and supporting kitchen staff during busy periods to ensure smooth operations Requirements Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, especially in fine dining or nightlife settings such as nightclubs or upscale bars Knowledge of POS systems like Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable for order processing and sales transactions Strong understanding of beverage service including spirits, wine knowledge, cocktail preparation, and drink presentation Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor and ability to build guest relations Ability to manage time effectively during high-volume shifts while maintaining attention to detail Basic math skills for processing payments accurately and handling cash transactions Food safety certification or knowledge of sanitation standards required; experience with food handling preferred Previous experience in hospitality roles such as host/hostess or bartender is advantageous Physical ability to stand for extended periods and perform tasks such as bussing tables or assisting in food prep Join us if you're passionate about delivering exceptional guest experiences through energetic service and expert beverage knowledge.
