Duties Safely transport prepared dishes from the kitchen to the dining area, ensuring presentation quality and accuracy. Assist in organizing and expediting food orders to maintain smooth service flow. Clear and reset tables efficiently by bussing dishes, cleaning surfaces, and preparing tables for new guests. Support the kitchen team with food handling, plating, and basic food preparation tasks when needed. Maintain cleanliness in dining and service areas through regular cleaning and sanitation practices. Use POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to process orders or communicate special requests. Follow food safety standards diligently to ensure guest health and safety at all times. Skills Proven experience in food running, serving, or restaurant operations with a strong focus on customer service. Knowledge of food safety protocols, proper food handling, and safe lifting practices for heavy or bulky items. Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting while maintaining safe techniques. Excellent communication skills to coordinate effectively with kitchen staff and front-of-house team members. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order processing.
