Responsibilities Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities Ensure proper food handling, sanitation, and safety standards are maintained at all times Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate timely food preparation and delivery Manage guest inquiries and resolve issues promptly to ensure a positive dining experience Assist with bussing tables, resetting for new guests, and maintaining cleanliness in dining areas Use OpenTable or similar reservation systems to manage bookings efficiently Handle cash transactions accurately and perform basic math calculations for billing purposes Demonstrate excellent guest relations skills by engaging with diverse customers in a fast-paced environment Experience Previous restaurant or food service experience preferred, especially in fine dining or nightclub settings Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable Experience with food handling, sanitation standards, and food safety protocols is essential Strong customer service skills with the ability to upsell and promote menu items effectively Knowledge of hospitality principles including guest relations, food preparation, and serving techniques Ability to manage time efficiently during busy shifts while maintaining high-quality service Host/hostess experience or background in food industry roles such as bussing or cashiering is a plus Basic math skills for cash handling and billing accuracy are required Join us if you're passionate about hospitality, eager to develop your skills in a lively environment, and ready to deliver outstanding guest experiences!
