Job Summary:

Provide friendly, competent service to members and guests, in a quiet dining environment. Option to work days, evenings, weekends, banquets and/or special events. Pay is based on hourly wages + tips.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Perform set-up, clean-up and closing duties as assigned by manager
• Familiarize oneself with all selections on menu to be able to recommend appetizers, meals, desserts and drinks from restaurant wine stock
• Greet, seat and take drink and food orders
• Enter orders correctly in POS system
• Ensure that customer dishes are correct and satisfactory
• Take necessary steps to ensure a satisfactory customer experience and resolving all customer issues promptly
• Keep dining and server area neat and pleasant
• Handle payment as prescribed by standard operating procedures
• Work in collaboration with others servers and staff

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Experience in food and beverage industry is preferred
• Ability to fulfill assigned tasks quickly and efficiently
• Calm, professional demeanor
• Ability to correctly enter food/drink orders into computer order system
• Ability to pass required certifications
• Must be at least 18 years old to serve food and 21 years old to serve alcohol

Education/Experience:

• High school or equivalent (preferred)

Food Service:

1 year (preferred)

Restaurant Experience:

1 year (preferred)

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods of standing and walking
• Must be able to lift, balance and carry trays of food weighing up to 25 pounds

From $9.00 per hour
