Support the kitchen staff with basic food handling, preparation assistance, and maintaining cleanliness in food prep areas. Bus tables efficiently, removing used dishes, glassware, and utensils while adhering to safe manual handling practices. Maintain cleanliness of dining spaces, including sweeping floors, wiping surfaces, and organizing service stations. Communicate effectively with team members using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to ensure smooth service flow. Uphold food safety standards by adhering to proper sanitation procedures during all tasks. Assist with heavy lifting tasks like moving supplies or equipment safely according to established guidelines. Provide in-person customer service by greeting guests warmly, answering questions about menu items, and supporting overall guest satisfaction. Collaborate seamlessly with servers, kitchen staff, and management to deliver a cohesive dining experience that exceeds expectations. Requirements Prior experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not mandatory; enthusiasm for hospitality is essential. Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely, including heavy lifting and prolonged standing or walking during shifts. Knowledge of food safety protocols and proper food handling techniques. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with team members and guests. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus. Experience with food running, serving, or guest services enhances your fit for this role.
