Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and experienced Server to join our vibrant restaurant team. In this role, you will be the face of our establishment, delivering exceptional guest experiences through attentive service, expert knowledge, and a positive attitude. Responsibilities Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide attentive seating arrangements using reservation systems such as OpenTable or similar platforms Take accurate food and beverage orders, utilizing POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS to process transactions efficiently Recommend menu items, upsell beverages including spirits and wines, and promote specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness in accordance with food safety and sanitation guidelines Assist with food handling, preparation support, bussing tables, and maintaining cleanliness of dining areas to ensure a welcoming environment Manage cash handling accurately, process payments securely, and handle POS transactions with precision Build rapport with guests through excellent guest relations, ensuring their needs are met promptly and professionally Experience Proven restaurant experience with a strong background in food service and guest relations Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms Experience in fine dining settings or upscale hospitality environments is highly desirable Knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail preparation, and beverage sales techniques including upselling skills Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts while maintaining attention to detail Food safety certification and understanding of sanitation practices required; culinary or kitchen experience is a plus Prior host/hostess or bussing experience preferred but not mandatory; a passion for hospitality is essential Join us to deliver outstanding service that keeps guests coming back!
