Full Job Description Server Duties:

• Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner
• Take food and drink orders accurately and promptly
• Provide menu recommendations and answer questions about the menu
• Upsell additional items, such as desserts and specialty drinks
• Enter orders into the Toast POS system accurately
• Deliver food and beverages to tables in a timely manner
• Ensure guest satisfaction by checking on tables regularly and addressing any issues or concerns
• Process payments using cash register and handle cash transactions
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure accurate food preparation and timely delivery
• Maintain cleanliness of dining areas and work stations

Skills:

• Previous experience in a server or customer service role is preferred
• Knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary terminology is a plus
• Strong upselling skills to increase sales and enhance the dining experience
• Familiarity with Toast POS system or similar point-of-sale software is desired
• Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for positive guest relations
