Position Title:

Restaurant Server Position summary: A restaurant server takes orders, answers questions about food and beverage menu items, sells the restaurant's food and drinks, takes payment, communicates orders with the kitchen staff, seats customers, and helps with customer service and cleaning.

Tasks:

Take food and drink orders from customers accurately and with a positive attitude. Create great guest experience through knowledge, personality, service standards and attention to detail. Engage with customers in a friendly manner. Ensure tables are enjoying their meals and take action to correct any problems. Keep up proper table maintenance throughout the guest experience. Collect payments from tables. Prepare checks that itemize and total meal costs and sales taxes. Help food preparation staff when necessary. Run own (and teammate's) drinks when necessary. Run own (and teammate's) food when necessary. Help bus and pre-bus their own (and teammate's) section when necessary. Anticipate guest's needs by proactively selling/accommodating/going above and beyond for the guest. Uphold all service and team standards set forth by Alter management.

Experience And Education:

High School Diploma or equivalent. Experience providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment. A positive attitude and ability work well under pressure with team mates. Must have all applicable certifications.

Pay:

$900.00
