The Grand at Twin Lakes is a vibrant Independent and Assisted Living community dedicated to providing exceptional service, hospitality, and care to our residents. We are expanding our dining team and looking for compassionate, dependable, and service-oriented individuals who enjoy working with seniors in a professional dining environment.

Position Summary:

The Dining Server is responsible for providing courteous, respectful, and efficient meal service to residents in our dining room. This role is essential in creating a positive dining experience while maintaining strict compliance with Illinois Assisted Living regulations and food safety standards.

Essential Responsibilities:

Greet residents warmly and provide attentive, respectful service Take meal orders accurately and deliver food promptly Assist residents as needed during meal service Clear and reset tables according to community standards Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of dining and service areas Follow all food safety, sanitation, and infection control procedures Work collaboratively with the Culinary Director and kitchen team Support both Independent Living and Assisted Living residents Assist with special events and themed dining activities as needed

Qualifications:

Previous restaurant, hospitality, or senior living experience preferred Strong customer service skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Professional appearance and positive attitude Must be reliable, punctual, and team-oriented Ability to stand and walk for extended periods

REQUIRED

Certifications & Pre-Employment Compliance:

As a licensed Assisted Living community in Illinois, the following are mandatory: Illinois Food Handler Certification (required prior to or within hire period per state law) Completion ofRelias training modules (state-required training platform) TB testing Work physical Healthcare Worker (HCW) background check Ability to meet all Illinois Assisted Living regulatory requirements Employment is contingent upon successful completion of all required screenings, certifications, and training.
