Responsibilities Safely handle and transport food orders from the kitchen to dining areas using proper manual handling techniques and safe lifting practices. Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including plating, garnishing, and ensuring dishes meet quality standards. Buss tables by clearing dishes, cleaning surfaces, and resetting tables quickly to maintain a clean and welcoming environment. Support the kitchen team with basic cleaning duties such as sanitizing workstations, utensils, and equipment to uphold food safety standards. Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and front-of-house team using POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS to ensure accurate order delivery. Assist with food running duties by delivering orders efficiently while maintaining hot or cold temperatures as required. Provide excellent in-person customer service by greeting guests warmly, addressing their needs promptly, and ensuring a positive dining experience. Qualifications Previous food service experience or restaurant background preferred; familiarity with food handling and kitchen operations is a plus. Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a team in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of safe lifting practices and ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary. Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous. Demonstrated commitment to food safety standards and proper sanitation procedures.
