Restaurant Server

Job Summary:

Join the Chicago's oldest Pizza chain since 1959. Aurelio's® is looking to hire Restaurant Servers for 2-5 shifts per week. Looking for someone to mainly work floor shifts and pick up/ cover bartending shifts if needed. Applicants with a demonstrated work history in serving will be prioritized. Wine and liquor knowledge is a plus. Weekend and Holidays availability are preferred. We are looking for self-starters, creative, motivated, kind, and hospitable candidates with strong work and self-awareness. Qualified candidates should meet the following criteria: Minimum of 1 year of restaurant experience Strong general knowledge of food and food preparation (experience with Italian or Pizzeria restaurants and bar are a plus) Flexible schedule (nights, weekdays, weekends, holidays) Ability to stand/walk for long periods Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. Familiar with at least one POS Able to take direction well from managers Strong communication skills and solid teamwork Bring your positive attitude and energy!

Job Duties Include:

Restaurant service steps knowledge Provide friendly, responsive service to create an exceptional dining experience for all of our guests. Prepare items needed for the day in the beginning/during and at the end of each shift. Maintain clean service areas. Be available to work serving shifts as well as bar shifts if needed Monitor and observe guests' dining experience. Respond promptly and courteously to any requests. Be ready and willing to assist co-workers as situations arise. Willing to assist with clearing and resetting tables. Be available to fill in as needed to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the restaurant as directed by the restaurant manager. Handle cash transactions accurately. Complete daily and weekly side work tasks outlined by management. Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines.
