Lead Server

Job Overview Pay $15/hr + tips We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Lead Server to join our vibrant food service team. In this pivotal role, you will lead by example, delivering exceptional guest experiences while overseeing daily operations in a fast-paced, fine dining environment. As a Lead Server, you will coordinate service efforts, support staff development, and uphold the highest standards of food safety and customer service. Duties Supervise and motivate a team of servers to deliver outstanding guest experiences in a lively setting Take charge of table assignments, ensuring efficient service flow and guest satisfaction Assist with food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities Maintain knowledge of menu offerings, including food preparation details and wine pairings, to provide expert recommendations Ensure adherence to sanitation, food safety standards, and proper food handling procedures at all times Support opening and closing duties, including cash handling, inventory checks, and cleanliness standards Scheduling Requirements Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, preferably with fine dining or nightclub experience Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, and OpenTable for reservations management Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and hospitality excellence Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced setting while multitasking seamlessly Basic math skills for cashiering, cash handling, and order calculations Culinary experience or kitchen background is a plus for understanding food preparation and service flow Experience with serving, bussing tables, host/hostess duties, and general food industry operations Knowledge of sanitation practices, food safety protocols, and proper food handling procedures Strong communication skills to coordinate with kitchen staff and front-of-house team effectively Join us as a Lead Server if you're passionate about delivering memorable dining experiences!
