A Food Server is responsible for creating a positive guest experience by taking orders, delivering food and beverages, and providing knowledgeable recommendations on menu items, including food, wine, beer, and spirits. As a representative of American Place Casino, they maintain a professional and friendly demeanor, ensure accurate and timely service, and support a smooth, enjoyable dining experience. Consistently following established sequence of service to provide the highest level of service to our guests Building and establishing a personal clientele through guest interaction, name/face recognition Anticipating guests needs and responding appropriately Responsible for a cash bank to ensure quick service for our cash paying guests Performing all opening and closing duties daily Maintaining cleanliness of shift area and service bar/stations Working as a team to insure the highest level of guest satisfaction Following all policies and procedures set forth by the company Following all health and safety regulations Communicating effectively with management and team members alike Maintaining the highest level of professionalism with both guests and team members Responsible to comply with all managers and direct supervisor requests Experience YOU will need: Proficiency in company operational systems, including: Opening and closing procedures Food and beverage knowledge POS systems Cash handling procedures Proven ability to provide excellent service, handle customer inquiries, and resolve complaints effectively Skill in accurately processing orders, handling special requests, and ensuring the correct presentation of dishes Ability to efficiently manage multiple tables and orders, ensuring timely service. Ability to handle unexpected situations or challenges, such as incorrect orders or customer issues, with a calm and proactive approach. Bilingual proficiency preferred, but not requiredPhysical Requirements:
Carry and balance trays. Lift up to 30 lbs. Stand for long periods. Navigate crowded spaces. Handle fast-paced environments. Flexibility in bending and reaching. Adaptability to casino conditions, including bright lights and noise.Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
