Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Front End Associate to join our team in a fast-paced dining environment. The ideal candidate will possess excellent customer service skills and have a passion for providing exceptional guest experiences. As a Front End Associate, you will be responsible for managing the front-of-house operations, ensuring smooth service delivery, and maintaining high standards of food safety and sanitation. Responsibilities Greet and welcome guests upon arrival with a friendly demeanor. Manage reservations using OpenTable and assist with seating arrangements. Process transactions efficiently using Aloha POS or Micros POS systems. Provide menu recommendations and upsell food and beverage items to enhance guest experience. Ensure cleanliness and organization of the front end, including bussing tables and maintaining sanitation standards. Assist in food preparation and handling as needed, adhering to food safety guidelines. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service delivery. Handle guest inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints promptly to maintain guest relations. Support other front-of-house roles as necessary, including hosting duties. Qualifications Previous experience in the food service industry is preferred, with fine dining experience being a plus. Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction. Excellent time management abilities to handle busy service periods effectively. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha or Micros is advantageous. Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction processing. Knowledge of food handling, preparation, and safety standards is essential. Experience in serving, bussing, or host/host roles is desirable. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.
