Job Description

The Shady Nook Inn is looking for a reliable and hardworking Busser/Food Runner to join our team. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and take pride in keeping things clean and organized, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities:
Run food from expo to tables accurately and promptly. Clear, sanitize, and reset tables quickly; keep service stations tidy. Restock silverware, napkins, condiments. Support servers, bartenders, and kitchen with ice runs, trash/recycling, and end-of-shift breakdown. Maintain clean floors, railings, and patio/dock areas. Follow all food safety and sanitation procedures.
Qualifications:
Restaurant/hospitality experience helpful but not required—willing to learn. Able to stand/walk 6-8 hours; lift/carry up to ~40-50 lbs; handle trays safely on decks. Clear communicator; calm under pressure; team-oriented and reliable. Flexible availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays.
