Duties Greet guests warmly and answer questions about food, beverages, and specials with enthusiasm. Take accurate food and drink orders using Clover POS systems Serve food and beverages efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness. Process sales transactions accurately, including cash handling and credit card processing. Upsell menu items such as wines, spirits, cocktails, or desserts to enhance the guest experience and increase sales. Ensure proper food handling, sanitation, and safety protocols are followed at all times. Assist with bussing tables, resetting dining areas quickly to maintain a smooth flow during busy hours. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and address any special dietary needs or guest requests. Maintain excellent guest relations by providing attentive service, resolving issues promptly, and creating a welcoming atmosphere. Skills Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments with a focus on fine dining preferred. Strong knowledge of Clover POS systems is a plus. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and professionally. Ability to upsell menu items confidently using sales techniques like suggestive selling. Culinary experience or food industry background that supports menu knowledge and food safety practices. Beverage expertise including cocktail preparation, spirits knowledge, wine pairing, and drink service. Effective time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during peak hours. Basic math skills for processing transactions accurately and managing cash handling responsibilities. Knowledge of sanitation standards and proper food handling procedures to ensure guest safety. Strong communication skills for collaborating with team members and providing exceptional guest experiences. $15.00 - $25.00 per hour
