Dietary Aide-Part Time Exempt Status:

Non-Exempt Reports to: Director of Dining Services North Woods Memory Care assisted living communities are designed and developed to meet the very special needs of those with Alzheimer's disease, dementia or other memory impairments, and to provide them with the dignity, lifestyle and support they deserve. The Dietary Aide is responsible for assisting the dietary department to prepare and serve Residents in accordance with diet menus. The Dietary Aide will also perform general cleaning duties as set forth in the cleaning schedules. The Dietary Aide will attend in-service training and education as assigned. Dietary Aide:

Prepare Neighborhoods to serve meals Transport meals to and from Neighborhoods as well as non-food items Serve meals to residents Wash and store dishes, pots and pans Follow all cleanings schedules, including sweeping and mopping dish area Empty all trash containers Additional Duties of the

Dietary Aide:

Maintain station equipment and work area in a safe and sanitary condition Maintain acceptable standards of hygiene and department dress code Perform specific work duties and responsibilities as assigned by supervisor Qualifications of the Dietary Aide Must be able to effectively understand and communicate in English Must have previous experience in dining services in a health care or restaurant setting Must possess the ability to work in close cooperation with residents, guests, visitors, families, supervisor and peers.
