Genki is a small, family owned restaurant looking to expand our employee roster due to increased business. While having previous experience is a plus, it is not required! Previous experience in fast food, serving in dine-in restaurants, and restaurant hosting preferred. We are looking for someone who is polite, patient, and can get along well with others while being able to keep up with the fast pace of the restaurant. Our restaurant is popular with a large variety of people including Chinese, Korean, Japanese, etc. as well as vegetarians/vegans, so an understanding attitude and patience for those who don't speak fluid English and those who need adjustments for food.

Key Responsibilities:

Greet, seat, and serve guests with a positive attitude. Pack to go orders Answer phones (both to-go orders and customer questions) Make sure everything is kept clean/tidy

Requirements:

Able to work more than 30 hours with weekend and holiday flexibility. Full-time availability preferred Able to work a physically taxing/high energy job with lots of standing and moving Friendly and approachable personality, with strong communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with customers and team members Able to multitask and keep up in a high energy work environment Zero tolerance for racism - must be able to work with people of other ethnicities without issue Students or applicants with backgrounds in hospitality, restaurant management, food service, business, or related fields are encouraged to apply. International students with valid U.S. work authorization are also welcome.

Pay:

$12.00 - $22.00 per hour
