Responsibilities Take accurate food and beverage orders Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality Process cash and credit card transactions efficiently, ensuring accuracy in sales and tips management Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all serving areas, including bussing tables and resetting for new guests Provide knowledgeable recommendations on wine, spirits, and menu items based on guest preferences and food safety guidelines Experience Previous food service experience in a fast-paced restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable is highly desirable Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and handle diverse situations confidently Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts while maintaining attention to detail Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures Ability to perform basic math accurately for processing transactions and managing bills
