Responsibilities Greet guests warmly and guide them to their tables with genuine hospitality. Take accurate food and beverage orders using our Toast POS system ensuring special requests are noted. Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness. Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales. Check on guests regularly to ensure their needs are met, providing attentive customer service throughout their visit. Handle cash, process payments accurately with POS systems, and give correct change. Maintain cleanliness of tables, dining areas, and service stations; assist with bussing tables as needed. Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines diligently, including proper food handling and hygiene practices. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and resolve any issues quickly. Requirements Previous restaurant experience or food service background preferred. Familiarity with POS systems such as Toast or Aloha preferred , however training will be available. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and professionally. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours. Ability to upsell menu items confidently while maintaining guest satisfaction. Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling techniques. Basic math skills for cashiering, cash handling, and bill splitting accurately. Experience in serving, bussing, host/hostess duties, or food preparation is highly valued in this role. Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays in a fast-paced environment.
