A Waiter or Waitress takes orders and serves food and beverages to customers in restaurants. Answers customer questions about menu items, prepares checks and collects payment, and assists with clearing dishes and tables. May work in banquet or dining halls.
Servers at Indian Hills Country Club are expected to work in A La Carte dining rooms, including our poolside dining/bar, as well as serving on banquets/private events of various size, times, and requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Setting up and breaking down event spaces or dining rooms Taking orders, serving food and drinks, or keeping buffets stocked Entering orders using the POS system Interacting with members and guests on a regular basis, must always keep a professional and welcoming attitude Tableside wine service Bussing tables and maintain an enjoyable dining space. Communicating with team members and management Side work tasks such as: polishing silverware, rolling silverware, polishing glassware, restocking, sweeping, etc.
Qualifications:
Punctual, professional, having a willingness to learn and communicate.
Education:
High school diploma
Experience:
Previous server or hospitality experience preferred.
Working Conditions:
Evenings, weekends, and holiday availability are required.
Salary and Benefits:
$17/hr - $21/hr
