Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable, and relay orders promptly to the kitchen. Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities. Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation, cleanliness, and sanitation. Check in with guests regularly to ensure satisfaction, address any concerns promptly, and foster guest relations. Handle cash transactions accurately through cashiering duties, including cash handling and basic math calculations. Assist with food preparation, bussing tables, and maintaining sanitation standards in compliance with food safety regulations. Skills Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, especially in fine dining or nightlife settings such as nightclubs. Strong knowledge of POS systems including Aloha POS, Micros POS, and OpenTable for efficient order processing. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude and ability to build guest rapport quickly. Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts while multitasking seamlessly. Knowledge of food handling, sanitation practices, and food safety regulations to ensure a safe dining environment. Experience with culinary tasks or kitchen experience is a plus for understanding food preparation processes. Ability to upsell menu items confidently while maintaining professionalism under pressure.
