Wyndham Grand Executive Center located in Topeka, Kansas! The Banquet Server/Restaurant Server will play a vital role in providing excellent service to our guests and ensuring their dining experience/event is exceptional. Their duties include greeting guests and taking their orders, bringing them the correct drinks and dishes, and refilling their beverages as needed. This role involves ensuring that guests' needs are met promptly and efficiently while maintaining a high standard of service and hospitality.

Essential Skills & Duties:

Greet guests warmly and provide attentive service Relay food and beverage orders. Maintain a high level of cleanliness and awareness of sanitary practices. Anticipate guests' needs and exceed customer service expectations. Maintain composure in a fast-paced environment. Relay important information about orders, allergies, and special requests to the appropriate person. Respond urgently and appropriately to any concerns. Present in professional appearance and mannerisms. Work closely with the banquet team, kitchen staff, and event coordinators to ensure seamless service. Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate service efforts. Perform other duties as assigned. The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and qualifications: High school diploma or relevant experience Previous experience in a hotel, restaurant, or similar hospitality setting (preferred) Ability to meticulously set up event spaces according to specifications and ensure all elements are in place. Capability to lift and move furniture, equipment, and other items required for event setups. Ability to interact courteously with guests, respond to inquiries, and address concerns to enhance guest satisfaction Efficient utilization of time to complete setups within designated timelines and meet event schedules. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays based on event schedules. A positive attitude and a passion for creating memorable experiences.
