The Galt House Hotel is currently hiring for a Food Runner for our new restaurant, Swizzle. Swizzle, is perched 25 stories above River Road, the space has long been a destination for Louisville residents' most special moments. Responsibilities Assists the server to consistently deliver a quality experience for guests Prepare food stations and maintaining organized and clean guest tables Ensure that food safety guidelines are adhered to at all times Serving food and drink to guests at the direction of the server Clean, clear, and reset tables in preparation for arriving guests Acting as a connection between front-of-house and back-of-house when necessary Handling guest concerns and complaints, notifying server and manager when necessary Other duties as assigned Qualifications High school education or Equivalent Must be of legal age to serve alcohol Self-motivated and customer service oriented Strong oral and written communication skills Clean and professional appearance Adept in following food safety practices Detail oriented Ability to work on your feet for at least 8 hours at a time and lift at least 60 lbs Team oriented Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
